How are you? Hope you progressing with your Phd. I have 2 questions to ask you. I bought and read your book in a lovely town of St. Andrews. Your book has truly inspired and motivated me to write my dream book where I have been planning from ages.
First question, what qualifications do I require to become a writer? Currently, I am working on 2 ventures to publish children’s book in the next few months or in 2019. I hold a master’s degree in Business & soon I will be graduating with Psychology degree at University of Glasgow. I am just exploring my options so I am equipped with all the necessary knowledge and tools.
Second question, do you offer individual session to novice or people who are interested to write a book whether its a novel or children’s book? I would be happy to meet you in-person or have a session on Skype if its possible.

You don’t need any specific qualifications to be a writer. All you need to do is write. 🙂 But if you are looking for specific creative writing opportunities and/or places to submit your book for publication, The Writers & Artists Yearbook has lots of useful advice: https://www.writersandartists.co.uk/store Another resource you could look into would be the Scottish Book Trust: http://www.scottishbooktrust.com
I don’t offer individual sessions at the minute, but that could change in the future. If you want to follow my blog (link on the right hand side of the page), I usually post there if I’m leading any upcoming workshops or classes which the public can attend.
